Eurizon is an insurance company belonging to Gruppo IntesaSanPaolo, and is one of the market leaders in Italy for life policies.
Eurizon Vita distributes its services through several channels (Gruppo Intesa Sanpaolo high street banks, merchant banks Banca Fideuram and Sanpaolo Invest, its network of more than 4,200 financial consultants, other banks and the Italian Post Office).

Client requirements

Improve the document creation process, increasing flexibility in the management of different information, and overcoming inflexibility which is no longer acceptable in Eurizon Vita’s commercial area.

Move towards an open technological architecture such as to remove individual supplier conditioning. Improvements in the electronic document archiving process, also providing image archiving and making consultation easier.

Drastic reduction in time taken to carry out a design change, or for electronic archiving.

Solution proposed by Selecta

• Standardisation of data layout, and the creation of new layouts which are easier to read and understand.
  
• Configuration of a protected line (Virtual Private Network) for data transfer.
• Conversion of all communication into PDF format with instructions to facilitate document searches.
  
  
Printing, envelope insertion, and mailing of correspondence:

• Uploading and downloading of PDF images onto the Selecta ftp server, via the dedicated VPN line.
• Integration with the Filenet content management system.
